The garden is really getting going. I am still going out and poking the plants on an almost daily basis. I am also getting lots of heirloom and unusual seed catalogs in the mail and am already busy planning next years garden. I want one of everything!!!
Purple bush beans coming up nicely!
Purple bush beans and corn!
corn is starting to look corny!
More bush beans
Two tomatoes on the end of the bed along with the corn and beans.
Cucumber! with leaves!
More cucumbers getting leaves! and more coming up!
Lemon cukes! I am having a great deal more success starting them in the ground than i have ever had with cucumber transplants!
Pickling cukes!
Sugar snap and shelling peas starting to get the hang of the trellis!
Mesclun salad mix, already picking enough for salads!
Green ice lettuce, coming along a bit more slowly.
spinach is small but looking like spinach! we are still getting some cooler weather and this is a slow bolting variety anyway.
Red chard always seems to come along a bit slower.
More salad mix and the stray roma tomato lol
Looking fairly green!
No fruit set, a little early for that, but getting blossoms.
some kind of damage to some of the sweet peppers. leaving it for now and watching it, of course, there is the fear of it spreading to the other peppers or the tomatoes but going to keep an eye on it. too moist under the plastic i think while they were being kept warm.
Our peter pepper growing by leaps and bounds. Ok...actually it just seems to be growing a little at a time...
Basil!
Cilantro....already looks like....cilantro! lol
Watermelon came up!
The brassicas are happy!
