Babies are all covered up for the night. It's only patchy frost so i just covered up the delicates. The peas, greens, lettuce, beets, brassicas, carrot sprouts and onions should all be fine, quite happy actually. The corn is just barely above ground so i think it will be okay. The cucumbers may or may not weather the cold but that's fine, i am actually going to plant some more in a sort of staggered planting, i have a short variety so am thinking we may be able to plant right into the middle of july without too much problem on those.
the tomato and pepper plants that have remained covered (center-front bed) are not only toasty warm but it smelled really nice in there when i stuck my head under the plastic earlier. Why did i stick my head under the plastic? well, to see how it smelled of course! lol
Within the next two days i should be able to get rid of most of the plastic and it can stop looking like little plastic loving tent nomads are living in my yard!
