New plants and Seeds.

Getting up at three AM apparently meant i had wayyyyy too much time on my hands...
and then....these plants followed me home...

This one has absolutely nothing to do with the vegetable garden, it is one of my very favorite flowers.  Foxglove or digitalis pupurea.  It is actually a biennial but because of its habit of seeding itself is often seen as a perennial.  The plant is not only beautiful but extremely poisonous so it will be kept out of reach of the garden helping hound...

An assortment of colored sweet peppers. Celery because i just have to try growing it.  Marigolds to scatter here and there for some pest control.  An early girl tomato although i did not exactly need another tomato.  Peppermint and a thyme plant which should be perennial if mulched well.

and the last seeds.
Rainbow Carrots-heirloom seed, the monkey wants some of these.
Some more pickling cukes, going to try a staggered planting i think.
Corn, pole beans and burgundy bush beans, still not sure about doing the three sisters but might as well try it out, so now the question is whether to use my square foot bed or make it a patch of its own in the back wildness.
basil to go in amongst the tomatoes as a companion.  Summer savory will probably get a little block of its own.  The sage is to see if i can get an additional sage bush or two going.  I have one well established plant (it is a perennial here) but it has a lot of woody growth and this season only one good sprig of growth so far, i did prune it back but only just this spring.
Salvia Oficinalis (Sage): it would appear that possibly the plant is a bit too old.  going to try some seed and some root cuttings as well.
