they arrived today! from Midwest Chili Peppers. Shipping was a bit more than i normally pay, but they arrived in great condition, carefully packed, priority mail. Two perfect Peter pepper plants, one of them with a flower and a number of buds already!!
they look like they may need some support for awhile. They have an almost bean vine look to them which is rather distinct from jalapenos and sweet peppers.
Really looking forward to these. Their shape is amusing as all get out! a great garden conversation piece. It is rumored that in South America they are viewed as aphrodisiacs! A medium to hot pepper that has a reportedly unique flavor. can't wait to try them. Hoping to keep increasing and getting a wider number of pepper varieties into the garden.
